Couldn’t be happier

Was stuck between these and some others on amazon, went for these in the end as it looked closest to the bowflex style which are notoriously good and it didn’t disappoint.. I ordered on Sunday and had them delivered by Tuesday. The quality is great so we will have to see how durable they are but so far 10/10 dumbbells for me worth the money all day.

Great addition to home Gym

Great price and very quick despatch/delivery from MuscleIQ. Even had an extra 5% off at checkout which I couldn’t match anywhere else on the net. Dumbbells come well packaged and my initial impression was that they they looked solid and very durable. Having used them for several sessions, I’m extremely pleased with this product. Perfect for a home gym where space saving is essential. There is very minimal rattle/movement between the plates when in use, and not something you really notice at all. Changing weight is very quick and simple, just a rotation of the grip when in the dumbbell is back in the cradle and your chosen weight is displayed in a small window next to the grip. 2.5kg increments are great to ensure a progressive overload in workouts. The flat end design of each dumbbell sets these aside from other brands and is a must in my opinion as you can rest them on your knees or shoulders for kick ups or dumbbells lunges for example. They are also less bulky when selecting the lighter weight option. The only slight criticism I would have is that the grip is quite thick. Not a problem for push or lighter weight exercises but can be taxing on your grip for heavier deadlifts/shrugs etc. you may want to use chalk or use lifting straps. I suspect the grip needs to be thicker due to the design and adjustable mechanism.
If you can I would also recommend getting the stand. I didn’t and I’m starting to regret it. You have to be careful when placing the dumbbells back in the cradle so that they slot in correctly. This can be hard bending over with a heavier dumbbell. It’s possible to knock the unused plates over but they are secured into groves so it’s not something that will likely happen unless your careless.
Summary- great product and would definitely recommend. 2.5kg increments are an amazing training option and get it with the stand if possible. Grip is thick but not really a problem for majority of exercises. Will definitely buy from MusleIQ again soon, (maybe for the stand)
